Segment length gauge

Used to get the length of segments for segmented woodturning.  Simply choose the number of side, and measure, move from the tip towards the fat end of the triangle a distance that matches the outer radius you want to make, and measure across the triangle.  The second picture shows picking a side length for a 10 segment ring.  Then, use this measurement to set up your saw and sled!  Segment sizing for rings up to 9.5” diameter.
